We teach a strong foundation in dance whilst having fun.Based in Upminster, teaching ballet, tap, modern jazz, acrobatic arts, musical theatre, commercial and body conditioning to students from 3 to 18 years of age.
Our aim at Foster’s School of Dance is not only to teach a strong foundation of technique in dance but to also have fun, make new friends, build on confidence and to have an ambition in life.

Ballet Classes
Ballet is the core of all dance and is great to study alongside all other classes.
Tap Dancing Classes
Learn about rhythms and steps, classes are structured around the IDTA syllabus.
Modern Jazz Classes
Techniques including, kicks, turns, leaps, isolations, expansion and relaxation.
Acrobatic Arts Classes
We develop great strength, flexibility, balance and tumbling.
Musical Theatre Classes
Learn to develop a fusion of Dance, Drama and Singing.
Commercial Dance Classes
This fun and expressive class will allow the students to express themselves.

Strengthen and refine the body, building muscle & flexibility to support you.

We welcome all levels and ages from beginners to the more advanced. Our classes are structured around the IDTA syllabus.
We love taking part in competitions, festivals, dance examinations and performing in many shows. We have also performed on the grid at The British Grand Prix at Silverstone which was shown on Sky and to millions of people across the world. Our pupils have also danced in Barcelona and Disneyland Paris.
All students regularly take IDTA examinations in all subjects and have 100% pass rate.

AAC1 ACROBATIC ARTS, HIGHER NATIONAL CERTIFICATE & HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN PROFESSIONAL DANCE.
Amy first opened Foster’s School of Dance in 2011. Amy is a qualified member of the International Dance Teachers Association and is continuing her studies within the association to fulfil her goal of becoming an examiner in the future.
Amy has also completed training with Acrobatic Arts for her acro qualification. She is a fully qualified, insured and experienced dance teacher, DBS checked and a first aider.
Amy is a passionate dance teacher who pushes her students to be the best they can be.
